This free crochet little chicken pattern is an easy and fast amigurumi project for Easter. The crochet chicken would make an adorable addition to an Easter basket. Could also be used as a keychain, gift tag or little present for your friend. This amigurumi chicken made from plush yarn is so soft and cuddly! The finished size of the crochet plush chicken is about 10 cm (3.9″).
Materials:
– Himalaya Dolphin Baby yarn (100% polyester, 100 g/120 m)
– 3.5 mm crochet hook
– 5-6 mm safety eyes
– Needle and scissors
– Fiberfill
– Keychain string loop
Abbreviations:

mc = magic circle
ch = chain
sl st = slip stitch
sc = single crochet
dc = double crochet
tr = treble crochet
inc = 2 sc in the next stitch
dec = single crochet 2 stitches together
F. o. = finish off
(…) = number of stitches you should have at the end of the round/row
(…)* 6 = repeat whatever is between the brackets the number of times stated

Fold the body in half and crochet through both layers 9 sl st (back).
Crochet 12 sc around the remaining stitches for the neck = 12 sc (head).

Attach the yarn to the stitch on the side of the body. We will call it “body stitch”.
