Assembly and tightening
We sew the muzzle directly under the bull’s eyes and begin tightening.
1 tightening . Take a large needle and strong thread (I use YarnArt Jeans), fold it in half.
Insert the needle from the back of the head, opposite the right eye (the one on your right hand when you hold the toy’s head facing you), bring it out from the outside of the right eye, and pull the thread through (leaving a small tail of thread at the back of the head).
Insert it again from the inside of the right eye and come out from the inside of the left eye.
Insert it again from the outside of the left eye and come out from the back of the head through the same hole where you inserted the needle at the very beginning.
ATTENTION! The tightening thread must pass over the eyes!
Pull tight, tie a knot, and hide the thread.
2nd tightening . Take a large needle and strong thread (I use YarnArt Jeans), fold it in half.
Insert the needle just below the middle of the muzzle , bring it out from the outside of the right eye, and then from the inside of the right eye.
Insert it again from the outside of the left eye, bringing it out at the bottom where the thread end is sticking out on the muzzle. In this tightening, the thread should pass under the eye.
Tie a knot. Cut the thread and hide it.
3rd tightening . Take the same thread and insert one end into the middle of the muzzle, one loop to the left of the last one.
Bring the end of the thread out at the top of the muzzle, just inside the right eye.
Take the second loose end of the thread, insert it one loop to the right of the hole at the bottom of the muzzle, and bring it out from the inside of the left eye just above the muzzle.
Grab both ends of the thread, pull tight, and tie a knot exactly in the middle.
Hide the thread.
Using black thread, I embroider the arrows above the eyes and the eyebrows, and, if desired, the whites of the eyes on the outside of each.
Before attaching the head, I connect it to the body with a long, thick knitting needle to ensure the center stays in place and the head is sewn on evenly.
Sew the head to the body with strong thread; I also use YarnArt Jeans.
Sew the arms directly under the head, just above the legs.
Attach the ears on the sides, three rows above the eyes.
Attach the horns, one row up the head from the ears.
I form a forelock or bow for the cow from merino wool for felting and firmly sew it to the head with sewing thread.
Christmas hat
Knit in the same color as the sweater:
Cast on 72 ch, close into a ring.
1-5. 72 sc (5 rows)

7. (5 sc, dec) * 9 (54)
8. (4 sc, dec) * 9 (45)
9. 7 sc, 7 ch (skip 7 sc of previous row), 13 sc, 7 ch (skip 7 sc of previous row), 11 sc (45)
