HAIR (dark brown)

Cap:

R1–R8: same as head R1–R8 (48)
R9–16: 48 sc (8 rounds)
Optional shaping: 2–3 short rows of ~24 sc across the back only so the back hangs lower. Fasten off, sew cap to head.

Strands: cut 60–100 lengths of ~35–40 cm. Fold each in half, pull the loop through a stitch on the cap edge/surface with your hook, pull ends through the loop (fringe knot). Fill from the bottom edge up and along the hairline until no cap shows. Trim even. For waves: dampen, wrap around a pencil, let dry.

BODY (start beige for skirt-line, switch to skin tone)

Flatten the top, sc across through both layers to close, fasten off. Sew to body 1–2 rounds below the neck.

R7–24: 12 sc (18 rounds), stuffing as you go (leave top 2–3 rounds unstuffed)
Flatten and close like the arms. Sew to the base of the body so the doll can sit.
Alternative: stop the body pattern at R6 and instead join the two finished legs with 3 ch, then work the body rounds up from them for a one-piece build.

CLOTHING

Top (red or orange):

Ch 25, sl st to first ch to form a ring (check it fits the chest).
R1–5: 25 sc around
Fasten off. Slide onto the doll as a bandeau/crop top. Optional: ch 12 straps sewn over the shoulders, and a row of white running-stitch embroidery along the top edge for the patterned band.

Skirt (beige/cream):

Ch 31, sl st to form a ring around the waist over the beige body section.

R6–10: 42 sc (work more rounds for a longer skirt)
Optional ruffle edge: (sl st, 3 ch, sl st in next st) around. Fasten off, sew the top edge to the waist.
For a “leaf layer” look, cut short fringe strands of beige/green yarn and knot them around the waistline over the skirt, like the hair strands.

ACCESSORIES

Necklace (white/cream):

Ch 20, and for the pendant: 4 sc in MR in light blue/green, sl st, fasten off. Sew the pendant to the chain’s center, tie around the neck.

Flower for the hair (white + yellow):

Yellow center: 5 sc in MR, sl st.
Petals: join white, (ch 2, 2 dc, ch 2, sl st) in each of the 5 sts. Fasten off, sew to one side of the hair.

ASSEMBLY ORDER

Head → embroider face → hair cap + strands → body → sew head to body → arms → legs → dress the doll → necklace & flower. Stuff head and body firmly, limbs lightly.
