Amigurumi Crochet Baby Lion Free Pattern:

Tail:
Make a tassel from coffee-colored thread on yellow thread. With the yellow thread, make a chain of 6 ch, tie the tassel to the thread, knit a lifting loop, and knit 1 sc into each loop of the ch chain (6 sts).

Cut a small piece of yarn. Knit the tail piece at the beginning of Row 15 of the body, weaving the tail ends into the knitting.

Arm (2 pieces)
1 R – 2 ch, 6 sc = (6 sts). [Cast on 2 chain stitches, knit 6 sc into the second loop from the hook]
2 R – 6 ch = (12 sts). [Knit 6 increases in a row]
3-6 R – 12 sc = (12 sts)
7 R – (sc, dec) 4 times = (8 sts)
8-11 R – 8 sc = (8 sts)
12 R – fold the piece in half, knit, catching the loops 2 sc, dec, sp = (3 sts).
Cut the thread, leaving a short tail.

Legs-Torso-Head
We begin knitting by knitting 2 leg pieces from rows 1 to 7 inclusive. We knit the first leg and cut the thread, leaving a short end. After knitting the 7th row of the second leg, in the 8th row we connect the pieces into one body piece.
1 R – 2 VP, 7 SC = (7 P). [Cast on 2 chain stitches, knit 7 SC into the second loop from the hook]
2 R – 7 PR = (14 P). [Knit 6 increases in a row]
3-8 R – 14 SC = (14 P). [Work 6 rows in a circle without changes, 1 sc in each stitch of the previous row]
9 Row – 13 sc, 2 tr, 13 sc = (30 sts)
10 Row – 14 sc, 2 tr, 14 sc = (32 sts)
11 – 14 Row – 32 sc = (32 sts).
15 Row – knit tail into first stitch, 31 sc = (32 sts)
16 – 17 Row – 32 sc = (32 sts).
18 R – 13 sc, 4 dec (the place for this group of decreases is the belly of the toy), 11 sc = (28 P)
19 R – (2 sc, dec) 7 times = (21 P)
20 R – (dec, 5 sc) 3 times = (18 P)
21 R – 18 sc = (18 P)
22 R – 4 sc, knit the arm: attach the arm part to the body and knit 3 sc, simultaneously capturing the loops of the arm and body, 6 sc, knit the second arm similarly to the first: 3 sc, 2 sc = (18 P)
23 R – 18 sc = (18 P)
Stuff the body part with holofiber

Let’s start knitting the head :
24 R – (2 sc, pr) 6 times = (24 P)
25 R – (3 sc, pr) 6 times = (30 P)
26 R – (4 sc, pr) 6 times = (36 P)
27 R – (5 sc, pr) 6 times = (42 P)
28 R – (6 sc, pr) 6 times = (48 P)
Next, knit 7 rows without changes, 1 sc in each loop of the previous row.
29-35 Rows – 48 sc = (48 sts)
36 Rows – (6 sc, dec) 6 Rows = (42 sts)
37 Rows – (5 sc, dec) 6 Rows = (36 sts)
38 Rows – (4 sc, dec) 6 Rows = (30 sts)
39 Rows – (3 sc, dec) 6 Rows = (24 sts)
ATTENTION! If you have chosen eyes on a safety fastening, then before continuing knitting further, insert the eyes.
40 R – (2 SC, BD) 6 R = (18 P)
41 R – (SC, BD) 6 R = (12 P)
