This bright and cheerful caterpillar toy is easy and quick to crochet. You’ll need cotton yarn and a size 1.3 hook.
Materials we will need:
1. Hook #1.3
2. Yarn: 100% mercerized cotton 200 m/50 g or 392 m/100 g.
This can be Kamtex, Semenovskaya yarn Lily, Narcissus, or any other, with the same yardage and grammage, or any other yarn of your choice.
3. Eyes. The author has 2 black half beads 8 mm plus a little white felt for the white of the eye.
4. Rattles, rustling toys, squeakers – everything is at your discretion.
5. A needle for embroidering hair, eyelashes, mouth and eyebrows.

Change the yarn color again, making sure that the color change line is exactly on the caterpillar’s belly, continue knitting according to the pattern. Stuff the piece with filler and rattles, squeakers, etc. as you knit.

Stuff the piece with filler, fold in half, knit 3 sc on both sides, cut the thread, leaving a tail for sewing the piece to the caterpillar’s body.
You need to knit 2 horns, and 2 times more legs than caterpillar links.
Cheeks
1. 7 sc in amigurumi ring
2. inc*7, 1 sc, 1 slip stitch, cut the thread, leaving a tail for sewing the part to the head.
Bow:
Cast on 7 ch, start knitting into the second loop from the hook:
1-9. 6 sc, 1 ch for lifting.
Form a bow.
