You will need:
– Himalaya Dolphin Baby yarn (100% polyester, 120 m/100 g): green, yellow and color for a ninja mask
– 4.0 mm crochet hook
– 10 mm safety eyes
– Tapestry needle
– Scissors
– Sewing pins
– Stitch marker
– Fiberfill
Abbreviations:
R – row
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
dc – double crochet
bobble st – bobble stitch consists of 4 unfinished double crochet stitches clustered together in each chain
inc – increase (2 single crochet in 1 stitch)
dec – decrease
sl st – slip stitch
FLO – front loops only
[…] – number of stitches you should have at the end of the row
(…) – repeat whatever is between the brackets the given number of times
Amigurumi Crochet Ninja Turtles Free Pattern:
Head and Body (one piece)
Stuff as you go.
With yellow color yarn:
R 1: 8 sc in magic ring [8]
R 2: (inc) repeat 8 times [16]
In the next row we will crochet the legs on with green color yarn:
R 3: 5 sc, first leg (4dc bobble st), 4 sc, second leg (4dc bobble st), 5 sc [16]
R 4-5: 16 sc (2 rows)
In the next row we will crochet the arms on with green color yarn:
R 6: 6 sc, first arm (4dc bobble st), 3 sc, second arm (4dc bobble st), 5 sc [16]
R 7: (dec) repeat 8 times [8]
Change to green color yarn:
R 8: (inc) repeat 8 times [16]
R 9: (1 sc, inc) repeat 8 times [24]
R 10-11: 24 sc (2 rows)
Change to ninja mask color yarn:
R 12-13: 24 sc (2 rows)
Change to green color yarn:
R 14: 24 sc
Insert safety eyes between R 12 and R 13 at the distance of 4 st from each other.
R 15: (1 sc, dec) repeat 8 times [16]
R 16: (dec) repeat 8 times [8]
Fasten off.
Attach the mask color yarn on one side of the head between R 12 and R 13.
Make 5 ch, from the 2nd ch from hook: 4 sl st, sl st into the base loop.
Make 7 ch, from the 2nd ch from hook: 6 sl st, sl st into the base loop.
Fasten off.
Shell
With brown yarn:
R 1: 6 sc in magic ring [6]
R 2: (inc) repeat 6 times [12]
R 3: FLO: (2 sc, inc) repeat 4 times [16]
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
Sew the shell on the back.
Make eye tightening through the butt (optional).
