To create this cute kiwi bird you will need only basic crochet skills and a little time. The kiwi bird amigurumi is a great gift for the big and small who love birds. The head and the body are crocheted in one piece, the beak and legs are separate pieces. When finished your bird will be approximately 16 cm (6.2″) tall.
Materials:
– Yarn: YarnArt Jeans (brown #40, beige #87)
– Hook size: 2.0 mm
– 6 mm safety eyes
– Black embroidery floss
– Sewing needle and scissors

– Chenille stem of 30 cm length for a beak (optional)

Fold the chenille stem in half, twist it in a spiral. Insert the stem in the beak and in the head between the eyes. Pin the beak with sewing pins and sew it to the head. Shape the beak with your hand.
