- Aran (10 ply) weight BBB Filati Full (100% merino wool; 50 g/90 m) – small amount of 4 colors
- crochet hook 3 mm
- polyester fiberfill
- safety eyes (Ø 6mm)
- darning needle
Abbreviations:

hdc – half double crochet,
dc – double crochet,

rep – repeat
- WORK IN CONTINUOUS ROUNDS. DO NOT JOIN OR TURN UNLESS OTHERWISE INSTRUCTED.
- IT WOULD BE WISE TO USE A STITCH MARKER AND PLACE IT IN THE FIRST STITCH OF EACH ROUND TO MARK THE BEGINNING OF IT.
- LEAVE EACH PIECE A LONG TAIL FOR SEWING.
- INSTEAD OF WEAVING IN YARN TAILS AFTER SEWING THE PIECES TOGETHER, PULL SOME OF THEM OUT AT THE PROPER PLACE FOR THE TAIL AND SOME AT THE TOP OF THE HEAD. CUT THEM INTO 1 CM LONG AND UNTWIST THE YARN USING THE DARNING NEEDLE AS A COMB.

6-11: Sc in each st around
Insert the first safety eye between round 9 and 10, then count 5 holes to the left and insert the second eye in the next hole. Close the washers from the inside of the piece.
