Now measure your circle. It should be about 10 – 10.5 cm in diameter. If it is smaller, continue another tour with superiors, if it is larger, take out a row.

Rows with DC-together
– Ch2 (=1DC) together with 2DC + ch1, the rest of the row: 3DC-tog + ch1, attach the last 3DC-group to the first 3DC-group with a slipstitch.
– Slipstitch into the first opening before a 3DC group (the photo with the arrow shows you the right spot), in every one of those openings before a 3DC group you will crochet 3DC-tog + ch1. At the end, you’ll slipstitch into the first 3DC group. Repeat this row 4 times.
– Don’t cast off, leave a long piece of thread.

Rows with double crochets together
Work 2 chain stitches (counts as 1 treble crochet) work these tog with the next 2 treble crochets and 1 chain stitch, work 3 treble crochets together + 1 chain stitch the rest of the row and join the last 3tr group to the first with a sl st.

Work with 2sl sts to the first opening between a 3tr-group (you can see where to place this with the arrow in the picture), now work 2tr-tog + chain in the opening before each dc of the previous row, make the Join the last back to the first with a sl st. Repeat this tour 4 more times.

Do not fasten off, but leave a long piece of yarn.

Sew your crochet to your clasp frame
Open up your frame and sew your work to the frame, using the long piece of thread you left hanging in the previous step. Make sure to attach the crochet evenly to the frame, so no pulling as your purse will be all askew in the end if you pull it too much at the start.

Attach your crochet to your frame
Open your frame and sew your crochet to it with the long piece of yarn you left hanging. Make sure you sew the piece evenly (so don’t pull it to one side), otherwise your purse will be crooked.
